(I AM AN IDIOT I WAS ON OPTIFINE) Leggings of all types gain the shimmer animation of an enchanted item after applying any armor trim of any color, despite not being enchanted whatsoever. Only appears if the leggings are placed on an armor stand however, and have the correct appearance in the Inventory and on the player model.

i have the same bug, i'm using WorldEdit in minecraft 1.20.1 and ALL leggings have the enchanted aspect, not matter their type or color (for leather one) or if they have trim or not, and for me it also has the enchant aspect when i wear them
Sorry, @unknown, but only vanilla games are supported here. Not third party content like world edit.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
A world which had previously been opened with a modified client might be corrupted. Please try reproducing the issue in a newly generated world.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers like Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

Yeh, i just went here because my problem was similar, but the reporter was in vanilla
However, i will check it in vanilla too, once i'll have time
after some test, it appear that the enchant texture bug doesn't apply, even after applying armor trim, i'm on Windows 10 1.20.1 Vanilla, Java version
i've texted multiple trim and multiple colors, on a brand new world, and this texture glitch isn't present
I know this or something similar has been reported before, but it seems I can no longer find it.
Are you using any mods or resource packs?
