Just went to play my world, and had a HUGE UGLY SCAR generate across my world in the form of a large L-shaped mess of chunks resetting to a mesa biome. These chunks should be a nice ocean biome, alongside some swamp, forest, and plains biomes, but now the chunks are all messed up. Here, I've included some pictures from MCASelector showing what is happening. The first picture shows what these chunks should be, and the second shows what is happening to these chunks even after a put them back to normal using MCASelector. Get this fixed ASAP, by the next snapshot, please. I am really not happy. Thank you.

I am assuming this is something relating to updating versions with version chunks. Have you updated your world recently?
To Mr. Pizza, yes, the world is playing on the most recent non snapshot version, that being 1.20.1.
To Mr. Jiingy, no, I had done nor observed nothing, I simply went to go make a map of a region of the world I had never been to, and this area pictured was between me and there, so thus had to be passed. When I passed, a flew ahead of the chunk render line, and suddenly found myself up against a wall of solid rock, and that's how I found it. Other than that, nothing special. I had gone to the area before, a few times in fact, but never saw this until I went to make that map.
