Debug stick can't change trapdoor state

I had a hard time placing a spruce trapdoor in my creative world where I wanted it to be, so I took the debug stick from the "Operator tools" inventory tab and left-clicked until I had "facing". When I right-clicked the trapdoor opened. I right-clicked again, it closed. And it made its sound, so it wasn't the debug stick changing its "open" state. I suspect that other wooden trapdoors have the same problem, I just haven't tested it with the others. Iron trapdoors don't have that problem.
