digging down, block disappears the reappears and then disappears.

when ever i try to dig striate down (even though that agents the unwritten rules of minecraft) the block will disappear and the reappear then disappear again its kink of annoying it doesnt happen every block but it tends to happen around 1 out of every 7 blocks. so i hope that someone will fix that soon. thanks
