Its been shown on youtube how to create string from cobwebs gathered. I am using an iMac 27" 2009 model running High Sierra Mac OS 10.13.6 Highest i can go. The Mojang Version of Minecraft Java Edition is 1.20.1 . When I attempt to make string from cobwebs it will not. Ive tried all places and from one square to 9 and different patterns. Even from the simple 4 square create.

Never was a recipe in java edition, only in bedrock (and is removed there now (IIRC in full release, but I may be wrong and it could still be in betas/previews)).
