When changing a resource pack; the game becomes super laggy and slow. The FPS of Minecraft version 1.20.2 drops A LOT and this cannot be fixed by restarting the launcher, restarting the game, or restarting your device. You must fully reinstall Minecraft 1.20.2 and sometimes for modded clients reinstall the whole launcher.
P.S. This CANNOT be fixed by switching back to the vanilla resource pack.

turns out this does not only happen when changing resource packs and doesnt ALWAYS happen when changing them; that was a coincidence. Sometimes it can happen by just simply loading up the game. Quite frankly I have NO IDEA what is causing this.
What happens if you press F3+S while in the laggy state after switching back to the original resources? This might be a case of MC-263119 that would warrant reopening that ticket.

Does this work only for one resource pack or every resource packs? If this only works for one resource pack then please give me your resource pack you used.
