Shooting a decorated pot in Creative mode causes the decorated pot to drop bricks/sherds

Shooting a decorated pot with a bow and arrow in Creative mode causes the pot to shatter and drop. This is unexpected because shooting an item frame in Creative mode does not cause the item frame to drop. Comparatively, other container blocks when destroyed in creative mode (excluding shulker boxes) drop their contents but not the container itself.
