Just saw this bug again . Haven't seen it since 1.16 or 1.15 and I thought it was fixed but eventually it's not fixed.

Duplicate of MC-188529 (See MC-239387), transparency rendering issues are only accepted for fabulous graphics setting as that setting was added specifically to fix those.
