Wither's "dark cloud" doesn't prevent undead mobs from burning in daylight

In the Mobspotter's Encyclopedia, on the page for the wither, it points out that the wither creates a "dark cloud" above it that prevents undead mobs from burning in daylight.

I'm assuming that's the intended behavior because the sky becomes gray when it's summoned, as mentioned in the book, but that just doesn't happen.

This behaviour is exclusive to Bedrock Edition (although it's not currently working there; see MCPE-78925). We do actually accept reports about disparities between versions, but only if the difference was introduced in Buzzy Bees (Bedrock Edition 1.14 / Java Edition 1.15) or later, which is not the case here.

Ah.. ok, yeah I should've known.

But may I ask why Buzzy Bees? Did they happen to fix all parity issues that existed at the time of that update in that update?

No, that's just the update where mojang said "new parity is now a priority".
