Major movement glitch with low generic:movement_speed

When the attribute minecraft:generic.movement_speed is set to very low values, the player's movement seems to snaps towards certain directions.

This is most easily seen when the added minecraft:generic.scale is set to low values, as in the attached. (In attached, generic.movement_speed was set to 0.00625, as proportional to the player's size)

Not sure what you mean by that. The movement ingame and in the video seems to be pretty flawless and smooth. Would you mind explaining that further, thank you! 😃

The player is looking at a 40°-ish degree angle but their movement is going at ~10°. The player is only pressing the w key but the result is that their movement is going in a different direction than their look.
