When dropping items in creative mode while in the inventory, the items sometimes get duplicated, where the server thinks that the items are both on the ground and in your inventory.
How to reproduce:
In creative mode, go into the inventory tab and from there repeatedly drop an item onto the ground using mouse clicks so that you pick it up again.
Expected behavior:
You always pick the same amount of items back up as you dropped.
Observed behavior:
The first time nothing special happens but every time after that, the amount of items doubles. If you run "/data get entity @s Inventory" to get the items in the inventory while the items are on the ground, you will see items present in the data like shown in the screenshot.
