When a player throws an ender pearl and it generates an endermite, the endermite doesn't appear at the ender pearl's landing spot, unlike how eggs spawn chickens. Instead, it materializes at the player's position before teleportation. This can result in fall damage if the player threw the ender pearl while mid-air. Such a mechanism leads to unnecessary calculations, slightly affecting performance.
