[MC-269199] Mobs can hit you to high

I think that zombies (maybe other mobs as well) are bugged. If you create 2 block high tower than zombies can hit you if you're close to the edge of the block. It's very annoying and breakes the game! Please fix this!

I'm unable to replicate this issue. Are you also striking the zombies? Attacking them results in knockback, which propels them upwards, allowing them to reach you.

Or is the zombie jumping as depicted in this video? Entities have the capability to jump higher than one block, enabling them to attack you in situations like this.
