Clicking (more than once) on recipes in the recipe book or shift clicking in the recipe book doesn't let you craft multiples of items. I was trying to craft multiple chests. Doesn't seem to affect every recipe. Bowls, signs, and some others also affected.

I'd suggest changing the title to be a bit clearer, something like:
Unable to craft the maximum possible allowed items using shift right-click in the recipe book
Also having this issue. Some recipes work, while others only work some of the time, and still others never work. I've had all three options occur in the recent snapshots. I've had an item work for shift-clicking the recipe a couple time, and then stop working later during the same session.
Can confirm. This behavior is new to the latest snapshots, and cannot be reproduced in 1.20.4.
[media]Notice; at one point in the video the stairs recipe does not properly attempt to craft the max allowed items (only tries to craft 4 stairs), this was my own fault (shift was not pressed hard enough).
