Shift clicking certain recipes does not work

Trying to craft certain recipes using the recipe book (and holding shift) does not work.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create new world

2. Gather 5 logs & craft all to planks

3. Create workbench

4. Shift click door = Places 12 blocks in grid

5. Shift click chest (after unlocking the recipe) = Places 8 blocks in grid (with the other 8 staying in inventory)

Crafting recipes that don't work:

• Chest

• Furnace

• Bottle

• Bowl

Crafting recipes that do work:

• Doors

• Sticks

• Slabs

• Workbenches

• Glass

Does this have something to do with irregular recipes not working?
