[MC-269854] Flying Machines cannot travel through nether portals

Flying Machines cannot travel through nether portals. This possibly could be more of a suggestion than a issue.

Affects all 1.7+ versions (after the version the pistons were added; the nether portals appeared earlier in 1.2.1 alpha

I view this as a feature request. Currently, only entities have the capability to traverse through portals, whereas blocks cannot. Fluids are incapable of transferring into the alternate dimension via portals as well.
