[MC-27055] impossible to use ".j" - you get "..j" instead

I don't know why no one has reported this but since 1.2.3 beta every time you type a "." then a "j" it goes to "..j". Its imposible to get rid of the extra "." and Its annoying as hell. More annoying is how minecraft hasn't fixed this problem as its been about a year since this problem came out....

What you see as .j is in fact only a j. That pseudo dot is the leftmost pixel of the bottom of the j. Type a j alone and you'll see.

Like Kumasa said, that's part of the "j", it's the end of the little loop of the J. Attached screenshot of piece of the font texture.

from far away it looks like 2 dots, but that's good to know it isn't a bug. Thanks

Wow, an optical illusion, but really it's just part of the very end of the curl of the j, which can trick you into thinking it's a second "."
