I've attached a screenshot to clarify what's happening. You can see the lingering effects caused by the fireball. This is still present in 15w33c
I honestly don't know, all I know is that sandstone shows up grey and that that's intended.
So it's very likely, though may require confirmation.
Stone-type blocks show up grey. This includes sandstone, stone, obsidian, and coal blocks.
It's odd, but it works as intended.
Block 36, correct? The invisible block?
You don't need it any more anyways, use "barrier".
Cannot reproduce. See screenshots.
Please force a crash by pressing and holding F3+C for 10 seconds.
Blocks are not entities or tile entities, blocks simply do not have the data to store custom names.
Duplicate of Works as Intended MC-209
I cannot reproduce. Hoes work just fine. See attached screenshots.
Please force a crash by pressing and holding F3+C for 10 seconds.
I cannot reproduce. I was capable of placing a door on all four edges of the block.
Data value 2 will place it on the east side, data value 3 places it on the south, data value 7 places it on the west side, data value 1 places it on the north side, data value 4 will also place it on the north side (but with the handle facing the opposite direction). That's what the difference between 1 and 4 is, handle orientation. Confusing, but no bug.
Can you show us screenshots of the coordinates where the command is being executed?
It shows you the issue you duplicated on your original ticket. Scroll down to the section titled "Duplicates"
Your original ticket has been marked as a duplicate of unresolved MC-42088
Random animal spawning is random, I would say.
I found a herd of sheep and a pack of wolves at the same coordinates using the same seed.
Become a vegetarian, perhaps?
Low hostile spawn rates is probably MC-42053
Whether you like it or not is irrelevant, Mojang designed it this way.
It was in the changelogs, and contacting any of the Mojangster's on Twitter will prove it is intended.
To change it, you can try to use the Suggestions forum, but this has been discussed before. It has been around since snapshot 13w23b and there has been plenty of chatter.
Any way you cut it, works as intended.
Resolved because it works as intended. Mojang did, in fact, think this was a good idea to increase difficulty.
Zombies are social creatures, they have a chance to spawn extra zombies on death. This behavior is not limited with range and therefore zombies occasionally spawn next to their fallen brethren.
Command blocks output a signal only through a comparator. Place the back of the comparator against the command block to create a signal when a command is successful (I.E. when the testfor finds a player).
That's what Tails is trying to say. Not a bug, you just haven't learned how to use command blocks/comparators well yet.
Edit: Try the setup shown in setup.png
i'm assuming, then, when it's finally removed, written books that contain "§" won't read the same/ at all?
Probably. I don't know exactly what Mojang is planning to do.
for the record, the word "duplicate" does not apply here. it's simply a bug that would take more effort than its worth to fix.
Your personal ticket is a duplicate of (the same issue as) MC-31113, which is indeed resolved as "Wont Fix". So, yes, you are correct.
See Dinnerbone's comment:
Can't fix this sorry. Chat uses chat components, where the section symbol is of very limited legacy support. We're moving away from supporting that symbol entirely and whilst we're not quite there yet, it will be a lot of work to keep support in.
The same applies to books as well. Section sign (§) is getting removed, so it stops working properly.
Your MP4 does not work. If you need to attach a video, try using an AVI file or YouTube.
Or try using some screenshots (F2 in-game) to show us the problem.
I checked the thing this "duplicated" from and on it they don't have a resolution.
Actually, there is (are). The resolution is "Invalid" as it's not a Minecraft issue.
So says Grum:
There is nothing for us to work on. If your local settings somehow prevent the game from installing there is very little we can do programmatically.
You might have started it with the wrong permissions before (like Administrator) and now the files refuse to be updated because of permission-issues.
You might have an overly protective antivirus/firewall/similar 'protection' thing that needs to be turned off (and sometimes even completely uninstalled) for it to work.
You could try to visit: http://webchat.esper.net/?channels=minecrafthelp and see if one of the great volunteers can help you out. If nothing works you can contact Customer Service and request a refund.
That's good to know for my quicksand build, but I'm not sure if that makes it less of a bug.
