When I try to use the combo marks for their intended purpose they don't work as they should, they are not placed at the top or bottom of the letter.

When I try to write the letter "ä̟́̾" (this letter uses combining characters) in Minecraft this letter is displayed completely differently.
Please answer @unknown's question. How is your ticket different from MC-157148?
