Shift clicking items items into and out of crafting tables gives unexpected results / allows duping?

Noting lots of strange behaviors in this latest snapshot, but some problems with the crafting table were noticed before 1.20.6 was released. Currently on a Realm, I just hopped out to mine a bunch of sandstone (full eff pickaxe with silk touch) insane breaking animation, blocks not dropping/breaking - only dropping after repeated attempts to mine them or breaking insanely fast (makes the beaconless netherrack insta-mine look slow) anyway --). Cooked some sandstone into smooth sandstone and took a partial stack of 39 and right hold-clicked it into a crafting table's bottom row. Then tried to shift click the 13 x 6 slabs out all at once (plenty of space in my inventory for it). I get 6 slabs in my inventory. I try again, 6 slabs – and then I notice that there's still 13 smooth sandstone blocks in each of the slots of the bottom row of the crafting table and the slot for the crafted block is empty. Slabs clicked out and the crafting table seems to have forgotten to update its display. I'm shift-clicking-- I should be using up all 39 blocks. I try a few more times and exit the crafting table with 42 slabs and 39 blocks. This snapshot is the first time I've noticed duping, but have experienced problems with shift clicking in crafting tables before. All blocks are able to be placed, broken and picked up again. They aren't inventory ghosts.
