when mining blocks that are quick to break, the blocks dont break and instead pop back.. around 10% chance that it will break after spam mining them...
seems to only effect quicker breaking blocks e.g leafs or netherrack
not sure if this is already reported

It's already been reported in MC-271406, set to be fixed in a future update. 🙂
