[MC-27254] Due to a too high resolution resource pack, the game crashes when you try to play.

I thought, that when I clicked play The game would load and I would be able to play.

However, the mojang logo came up in the correct resource pack (sphax) but immediately after I was back at the launcher with an error message.
IN MINECRAFT 1.6.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Minecraft from Desktop
2. Choose play on the launcher
3. Watch it crash!

try going to the %appdata% and deleting the resource pack
