[MC-272652] Furnace not giving you XP if you pick it manually (without doing left shift to do it)

The furnace does not give you XP if you collect items from it manually. I've tested this only with normal furnace, but blast furnace may be affected too (and all other furnaces)

I cannot reproduce this on 1.20.6. I receive XP when smelting Ancient Debris regardless of whether I collect it manually or via shift clicking.

After many attempts, I also was unable to reproduce this on 1.20.6 and 1.21 Pre-release 2. Please make sure you're game isn't modified, and you should also disable any enabled data packs.
