Using a wind charge to stop the fall damage after using the wind burst enchantment doesn't correctly cancel the damage

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to a high place.

  2. Jump with the mace in your right hand and wind charges in your left hand.

  3. Hit any entity.

  4. Before hitting the ground use the wind charge.

  5. Jump into a 2 or more block deep hole.

Observed result:
You take damage.

Expected result:
You don't take damage.

Can confirm. This likely happens due to the fall damage accumulation point not resetting once the player falls on the ground, instead it stays where the player used the mace, similar to MC-272823 and MC-272886

I'm having a simmilar issue, when I am using the wind burst enchantment, sometimes when I land the hit it counts and propels me upwards but still deals me the fall damage. I created a bug report: Bug Report
