Using a wind charge and swapping it at the same time produces fake usage animation

When you use a wind charge and swap it at the same time (or with minimal delay), the wind charge isn't created, but the item in your hotbar visually displays a cooldown animation, and the item count decreases for a couple of frames and then returns back (attachment 1). This is a fake cooldown, as you are still able to use the wind charge during that animation (attachment 2).

Noticed this when I was trying to learn the new PvP tricks with the new items, quite annoying bug.

Can confirm. It might be easier to reproduce it by setting the key binds of Interact and swap items to be next to each other (like R and F)

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
