boats dropping oak wood regardless of what it was made from

Neither would it make sense for some oak-colored boats to drop pale birch planks, and other oak-colored boats to drop red-ish jungle wood, etc.

In order for boats to drop different types of wood, there would have to be different types of boats, which would clutter up the creative inventory. Also, for consistency's sake, there would be different fences, doors, etc. and none of them would stack with each other.
