i get the exit code 77 every time i launch MC. out of nowhere it just started happening.

Hey! I will be able to give the crash lag in under 1 week, not able to access my computer as of now, will send info once i can use pc.

what version of java?

I recently downloaded the java on website and the jre 21 or something. How do i check to make sure?

The debug screen (F3) will show the Java version in the upper right.

MC-275088 is relevant to this report as you may have downloaded the latest java version, but didn't actually set it properly.

is there a video or a full detail step by step way to do this/ check that its already done?? 

@hethand Minecraft.exe is in a temp or invalid directory surprised it gives that error though.
