Even though it's marked as "resolved" ,this parity issue is still not fixed ,so please ,don't just mark it as a duplicate. On java Edition, when you dye sheep any color and shear them, their "bare" skin still shows patches of white wool instead of the dyed color. As a result, it's impossible to distinguish between dyed sheep once they've been sheared. On Bedrock Edition, the wool paches are dyed correctly.
Tickets can be resolved for many reasons; in this case, the relevant ticket MC-1823 was resolved with the reason "works as intended"
