Sometimes, taigas can generate in very cold areas of the world, leading to weirdness due to the biome being surrounded by snowy taiga and frozen rivers.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a world with seed 1.
Teleport to -500 200 -1200
Note the strange generation of the taiga.
