What I expect to happen is
When destroying blocks, particle effects will only appear on each face
What actually happened was
When destroying a block, the particle effect will only appear on one side
Reproduction steps:
1. Place a bedrock in the creation mode
2. Switch to survival mode
3. Try to explore it

This has been the case since breaking blocks in Survival was added, in Classic 0.24_SURVIVAL_TEST_03, and is very likely intended.

When you break it the particles appear on the side you break it from. Upon breaking, particles will emit from the block itself and the block will drop
