In current pre release chunk regeneration errors occur as well as items from chests that where previously created in release ver 3 will lose all their items with no clear reason why. Same world has been played on a multiplayer server and has been continually updated since 24w40a. chunk errors may have occurred updating from pre-release 2 to 3 though entire chest contests being deleted is continues during play of pre release 3.
