Sent chat messages containing some unicode characters do not save when leaving a world

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Send a normal message in chat such as "Hello World".

2. Send this character into chat: 𜱲 (it looks like Pac-Man in-game).

3. Leave and rejoin the world/server.

4. Open chat and press the up arrow key a few times.

Observed Result:

Only the "Hello World" message is accessible with the up arrow

Expected Result:

Pressing the up arrow once brings back the "𜱲" message, and then once again brings the "Hello World" message
