Crashes when I hit play, but sometimes if I do get in the game, if I change resource pack EVERYTHING turns pink and black, then when I try to change back, it crashes.

Put the summary of the bug you're having here

What I expected to happen was...:
When I hit play, I play. And if I get in, when I change resource pack, it works, and if I return to default it does.

What actually happened was...:
Sometimes when I hit play on the launcher, it instantly crashes. If I change resource pack (The pack is NOT the problem), EVERYTHING turns pink/black except a few blocks, but it still says the default texture pack is selected, and if I'm fast enough I can get in a world, but it crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit play
OR
2. Change Resource Pack
OR
3. Join/Create a world

Your graphics driver may be outdated, that here is the most recent (02 / 2010) version of the driver for your chipset:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/integrated_mce-xp.aspx?type=2.7&product=2.7.2.3.2&lang=English

If that driver won't impove anything, you should use Minecraft with a low resolution texture pack.

If you need additional help, please use the Mojang Support Center.

The problem is last night it was working, then I quit Minecraft to go backup a world so I didn't mess up, then all these problems randomly started. Oh and it isn't the drivers. Now I can't change everything pink and black (Btw I updated my drivers to that download) because when I go to the resource packs and click it, nothing happens. It freezes for about 5-15 seconds and stays on default. If I go to .minecraft/options.txt and change "skin:Default" to "skin:Sphax PureBDcraft 64x MC16" it still instantly crashes. It is NOT the resource pack as it was working just the night before, when I quit to backup a world. Also I know it wasn't my drivers because of it working previously. After the drivers update, nothing changed at all. It doesn't go pink and black anymore but it stopped doing that just before I updated my drivers. Anything that could be wrong here? Should I provide a new crash report?

Reinstall Minecraft. Delete everything in .minecraft except "saves" and restart the launcher.

It worked. Problem resolved. Thank you! _

I'm new to this website, how do I mark this as resolved?

The ticket is already resolved.
