Whenever I try to connect to my friends realm, I keep getting disconnected halfway through downloading resource packs and then when I attempt to connect again it says error whilst downloading resource packs or the packs are incompatible then once I press ok my screen goes pixelated with pink and black squares. Note: I could connect to the realm a few days ago and I never had this issue in a previous realm.

This is the Java bug tracker, I would recomend going to the Bedrock one.
But it does seem that the issue is with some addons you or the realm have enabled.
