If a Spectator passes through a block that can be activated simply by walking into said block, once they switch to a different gamemode, those blocks get instantly activated.
This applies to blocks such as Tripwires and Nether Portals. Some blocks in this category, such as Pressure Plates, don't behave in this way.
Expected Outcome:
Spectators have zero interactions with the world while in Spectator Mode
Actual Outcome:
Spectators can "queue" interactions with certain blocks that update when a non-spectator player walks into said blocks.
Method To Reproduce:
Set up a tripwire, some cobwebs, or a Nether Portal
Switch to Spectator Mode and pass through those blocks
Switch to a different gamemode and witness those blocks activate
Note: While reports do exist for this bug already, they're for each individual block. This report serves to combine them into one issue as they all result from the same bug.

@Dhranios They should really rename that one or else they're going to get more reports like this one.
Now to see if I can delete this one...
