MC-5228 was an off-by-one pixel shift, not requesting a change in the design, but pointing out an actual mistake.
MC-126564 was a visual issue ehere what was supposed to just become grayscale, changed shape altogether. Not critiquing art.
MC-126564 was a text inconsistency where 1 block was different from 6+ other ones, making it too a one-off problem. Not critiquing art.
MCPE-179323 was a file-naming inconsistency, not critiquing art.
You reported 2 new textures being different from a single other one. It was never stated it should match, and is not an off-by-one.
Great... more required matching type, which was considered a bug and fixed in prior versions... MC-112257...
Reminder that entities render differently, there is no instance of per-face definition on entity model elements.
This is generally the case with semi-transparent over a semi-transparent texture, within the same model. It's not exclusive to these 2 blocks, but they are the only non-custom model instances.
Invalid, outdated and modded.
The falling leaf particle takes a color argument, on default spawns, this is derived from the block and color map. By applying a resource pack which changes the colormap for foliage to a bright red, the particles become red. The block model/texture and particle texture were not modified, and no command was used in the image.
This report is just incorrect.
Do note, that spruce and birch leaves do not even use the color map to begin with, meaning that the particle not doing so either is not a problem, as it will still match the block.
Per frog variants, all end dimension biomes are also cold: The End, End Barrens, End Highlands, End Midlands and Small End Islands.
Let's also not forget about (Deep) Cold Oceans.
Like MC-279235, I suggest generalizing this report (and make it the same as MC-279235, but for the warm biome tag).
The tag currently contains badlands
, bamboo_jungle
, eroded_badlands
, jungle
, savanna
, savanna_plateau
, sparse_jungle
, windswept_savanna
, and wooded_badlands
, meaning the following warm biomes are missing: deep_lukewarm_ocean
, desert
, lukewarm_ocean
, mangrove_swamp
(per frog variant), warm_ocean
, and, maybe (seems logical to me, but may be debatable), lush_caves
.
Additionally, there's the nether biomes crimson_forest
, basalt_deltas
, nether_wastes
, soul_sand_valley
, and warped_forest
, which may need to be added just to make warm variants spawn when using spawn eggs in the nether.
That would make it inconsistent with every other entity.
Change request, not a bug. Baby mobs are always just downscaled versions (with slightly less downscaled heads, with the exception of villagers).
It'd actually be better if the white spot on top was made brown entirely; not a single side-pixel at the top is white, so it'll look off regardless.
Duplicate of MC-279235 (caused by biome tag missing some entries, both cows and pigs use that tag).
To add insult to injury, it's a copy paste by the same reporter.
DO NOT intentionally create duplicates, just because you don't like the resolution.
Cows should be added to that report; it's the same biome tag that's to blame.
I suggest changing the report up a bit to clarify it's not just pigs, but cows too (specifically, this is caused by the farm animal biome tag not containing a bunch of other cold biomes), and include the list of cold biomes that are not spawning cold variant farm animals.
Artwork != official appearance.
Change request, not a bug.
