Started the world normally on normal mode, I had a few drowned zombies while setting up a starter base. Went caving and no mobs spawned only mobs I saw were from a zombie spawner. I have tried reloading the chunks by changing my settings and by traveling to different parts of the world and still nothing. Even travelling by night no mobs spawn around me.
