MC-183636 says this bug is fixed, but I don't think so.
By using commands like the one below, you can create piglins with a very wide detection range. However, they will not notice you even if you attack them from a distance.
/summon piglin ~ ~ ~ {PersistenceRequired:1b,IsImmuneToZombification:1b,attributes:[{id:"minecraft:follow_range",base:128}]}
This doesn't happen with other mobs, they just chase you from afar. Could this be because Piglins have Brains?

@ToFall 24w33a is a snapshot of 1.21.2, so I think it should be fixed in 1.21.4 as well.
Or is it invalid if it's fixed in 1.21.2 but reoccurs in 1.21.4?
Amura, No, that'd be a reoccurance and would not be invalid.
As for the description: Brain NBT is used by a bunch of mobs, not just piglins.
ToFall, snapshot names are "year 'w' week number" it came out on the 33rd week of 2024, which predates 1.21.4.
Iām unable to reproduce this in the latest snapshot. Using this command and then going ~50 blocks away still causes the piglin to detect and pathfind towards me.
If you are still experiencing this in the latest snapshot, please can you record a video showcasing the issue?
Please make sure you have no enabled mods, plugins or datapacks.
It says its fixed in 24w33a is that the version you tested on?
