[MC-279961] Firefly particles emitted from Firefly Bush stop generating after a very short distance

Bug:
Firefly particles emitted from Firefly Bush are not visible after a certain distance. They are visible when the player is in around 5-6 blocks radius of the firefly bush but after that, they are invisible.

Can confirm, it seems to be that they stop generating particles at all from a very short distance away. You can still see particles that remain, but no new ones will generate.

I cannot reproduce this very clearly. When standing past 6-8 blocks away, I can still see the old and new particles generating:

Please provide a clearer description of the bug, and a consistent way to reproduce it.

This bug is confirmed. Even with a chunk render distance of 32 and simulation distance of 20, the firefly particles stop generating and the old ones disappear.
