In Bedrock Edition, when a player attacks an armadillo, the armadillo keeps track of that player and regards them as a threat for 10 seconds after being attacked. They treat the tracked player like other threats: rolling up into their shell when the player goes near them. When the 10 seconds have passed, the armadillo no longer considers the player a threat. This is intended unique behavior that was supposedly added to both editions.
In Java Edition however, this behavior is missing. When a player attacks an armadillo, the armadillo doesnβt keep track of that player or regard them as a threat. They simply treat them like when any other entity is attacking them.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn an armadillo
Set your gamemode to Survival
Attack the armadillo, and observe how the armadillo reacts to you for the next 10 seconds.
Expected Results:
The armadillo treats you (attacking player) as a threat for the next 10 seconds, and rolls up when you are near it.
Observed Results
The armadillo doesnβt treat you as a threat, and doesnβt roll up when you are near it.

Nvm, I realized they do treat you as a threat in Java, just for a MUCH shorter time.
In Java I counted around 7 seconds .
In Bedrock I counted around 23 seconds.
