I found iron and as I went to equip my iron pickaxe, it just disappears out my hotbar, and I just roam around for a few minutes killing mobs with my netherite axe and then as I go to craft a crafting table to make my iron pickaxe again, my axe is replaced in my hotbar by the crafting table I made. I made sure thoroughly that I didn’t drop it and the same thing happened with my pickaxe previously
