I’ve been playing Minecraft on PC for months with no problem. A couple days ago, the game started crashing after I hit “play,” right after the mojang logo popped up and before the world-select menu would even appear. I usually play on bedrock, so I tried again on Java, but again it crashed right after the mojang logo. I have restarted my laptop and uninstall/re-installed Minecraft several times, to no avail. I tried following what others online did for similar problems with Minecraft, but if anything I think I must have made the situation worse.
Now, my Minecraft launcher isn’t working either. Every time I boot up the launcher, I get a “do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device” message, even though I’ve already selected yes several times in my attempts to get the launcher to work. The launcher will turn on, but stalls on the “loading game” screen for so long that the launcher times out and I get an error message.
I really don’t know what to do at this point and would appreciate help
