Servers failing to connect despite being connected to wifi

I have a serious problem. I cannot play online Java, all of my servers say, in red, "Can't connect to server". When attempting to join, it fails and says "Failed to connect to server" "Cannot assign requested address: getsockopt". I have reinstalled my game, restarted my computer, checked for updates, and disabled firewalls to no avail. Realms also suffers from this weird connection issue
