I’m trying to install Minecraft Java Edition for my son on a Ubuntu-based desktop.
I've tried using the .deb version of the launcher, and the tarball. Each time it will download the files correctly the first time and start Minecraft, but when running for a second time the launcher won’t load.
I’m sure that there are some useful logs somewhere, but I’m not really a Minecraft person and I’m not sure what is useful.
Environment
Neon Linux (based on Ubuntu 24.04)
