Block placement bug

If you go on a creative or surivval single or multiplayer and you have your block type that you want to place (can be any) then you leave the world and join back and as your joining it back you keep pressing your place button on minecraft then you will be able to get blocks at your feet and you can continue this for as long and high as you want.
