It worked on my Windows Xp computer, but it is not working on windows 7.
I don't think this is a bug, I think mojang should add in minecraft that you can change the hotkey to change views, and see the coordinates, because on my windows 7 computer, I can't do the 2nd view and the other F keyboard functions but it is only do the things that it been created for. ( f11 for mute the speakers, and not for fullscreen) So I think mojang should add things so we are able to change the hotkeys on the 2nd view, the coordinates, and the fullscreen etc.
I searched for this "bug" or what ever it is, and I did not find any so I am not duplicating.

You need to press the Function keys while holding an Fn type key. It is usually a different colour and next to the Ctrl or Alt keys.
You should be able to change what functions are used by default in your keyboard settings (if you use a laptop you may need to change it in your bios settings).
