I figured it out! Bats are have damage from anvil if they are on the bottom block, basically where does the anvil stops falling. If they are flying above the bottom block they are NOT getting any damage.

I noticed that in only multiplayer, that slimes spawning in swam biomes, in water. ( They also can't swim so they die in water). Only way to "reproduce" is playing in peaceful difficulty.

Rotating on torches is because of torches are blocks, but not whole blocks, so anvils fall through them. I thing this is a bug because anything not should just falling through blocks, they should break the anvil or the anvil should break the torches. And because of torches are block and that is causes anvil is rotating, they are rotating while falling through SIGNS, and levers.

This is a bug that I noticed too, all type of anvils are lost their "broken" textures while falling, and they rotate on the Z axis. If you place an anvil on which has the long side on the Z axis, it will not rotate while falling.

Bug, it is also rotates on the Z axis when it is falling down.

The lag is because of the blocks turning into items, and sand/gravel falling. It is happening in singleplayer, when you enter your world, the few minutes is laggy because minecraft try to load the things that should not be generated or exist on that way. When you exploring a new place in multiplayer, the minecraft detects the "floating" sand and gravel chunks, and the torches (ex: in NPC mines) are falling down because there like water flowed in or lava. If there is "floating" or not moving lava or water blocks, minecraft fix it, and it starts to move, and that is why it is causes lag. There is no way to reproduce this problem, mojang should make the world generations (it could be hard because in minecraft, there is a lots of weird world generations, that are just random) better, so there is no gravel generating in floating peaces etc.

Maybe it is because of some plugin if you running server with craftbukkit, or is is just simply lag. Lag can cause this, and they cause a lot. They cause: GUI don't opening, Blocks are don't drop item, Water/Lava don't flow, Anvils, Sand, Gravel are not falling, blocks you placed are vanishing after a few sec, and other and other things that are not responding to your client. Slow internet connection, slow proxy connection, or server running with very low RAM can cause lag.

What does Ads1705 talking about (the sand thing) is because of the lakes in deserts and id creates some floating sand blocks, and the other sand blocks are falling down because of Block Updates. (can be detected with redstone, it is called BUD;Block Update Detector) when a block updates, (it means it had something change in the sides of it, or has been breaked, or something been placed on it) happening, they are reminds the sand that is should fall down. So the sand is fall down if you place a block on top of it, or break a block beside it, or just refresh. (You can refresh it only if something "refreshable by hand" is generated beside it, like a furnace, or a door. I am talking about this generating problem, which is weird, and not just because it is made up like chunks, it is weird because it is generates normally after re-generating the map. Reproduce the problem I meant by delete the map or create a new one with same seed, if you built on that map you can't get it back on another map. One of my pictures was the Witch Hut glitched in sand. Sand was inside the house too, and I don't know where is the witch? Maybe it is like when villages been added with no npc s, but I want to see a witch in swamps. I know that is not related to the issue, but I just want to kill some witches in survival without using spawn eggs 😛

I tried, and this is the *second* time when it is happening, and this is the first after refreshing my minecraft. This IS a generation issue with the chunks. I noticed, that after re generating the map with the same properties will change the map. This is just weird

It is not duplicating, it is just that nobody can join to LAN server, even if they connected on LAN and they can see that my world has been opened.

Singleplayer, and it is modded. I have only one mod : opti fine
