Minecraft crash near 30 million blocks

If you go near 30 million block of the center of the world, Minecraft crashes. However I only tested on the amplified world.
How to reproduce :
1. Generate a new amplified world
2. Type command : /tp <player> 29999999 257 29999999
NOTE : In the crash report vanilla Minecraft find suspicious classes and the launcher flags 13w36a as modded.

Tested this in a regular world Multiplayer environment. Same result happens. When I attempted to reconnect, it gave me an "Internal Server Error" message and crashed the server again.

This is a global problem with the new generation, and isn't isolated to AMPLIFIED worlds. The idea popped in my head to see how generation works near the edge, so I sent myself to x29,999,999 y200 z29,999,999 and it crashed after a moment of trying to generate. After editing my location back a bit using an NBT Editor and attempting to manually fly toward it from a thousand blocks away, at between 200-400 blocks from the intersection my game crashed and closed. Essentially, while previously this area was generally just broken, now approaching and attempting to generate it crashes the game. I hope this is fixed before the release.

While I get suspicious files marked, the Is Modded area says it is likely not to be.

Just tested, and this is still present in Snapshot 13w36b. When approaching the edge of normal world generation, the game abruptly crashes. In the past, it would generate 'ghost' chunks which were only explorable in Creative Mode, but now it causes a fatal crash as the border is reached. Uploaded a log.

The world is named "Broken World (Crash)" as the only way to recover the world from this error is to edit the player's location in the NBT files so when loading the world the edge will not be loaded, so I'd rather make a new world to test than modify an existing world.

I finally tested in all world types and superflat world don't crash. I think it is a world generation failure. UPDATE : Added crash report for 13w36b. Again the launcher thinks it's modded.

Thanks for fixing it. I'm sad that air blocks past 30mil from origin function as solid blocks, though. I wanted to explore the ghost chunks, but when I forced myself beyond the boundary, I realized I was trapped in mid air. The first place I tested had snow which stops right at the border.

Still, thanks! 😃
