Light-emitting blocks lack internal glow in Java Edition

(Certain Light-Emitting Blocks Lack Internal Glow in Java Edition)

Expected Behavior:

Blocks like Sea Lanterns, End Rods, and Froglights should visibly glow, similar to how they appear in Bedrock Edition. The lighting should not only surround them but also appear within their textures, like Shroomlight does.

Observed Behavior:

While these blocks emit light to their surroundings, they themselves appear flat and unlit, making them look dull compared to Bedrock Edition.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place a Sea Lantern, End Rod, or any Froglight in a dark area in Java Edition.

  2. Observe how the surrounding area is illuminated, but the block itself looks plain.

  3. (Optional) Compare the same blocks in Bedrock Edition for reference.

(Files named with Java are associated with Minecraft: Java edition. Same for the other version)

This seems to have already been reported multiple times on linked duplicates of MC-54479, despite the original report referring to all blocks in general rather than just light-emitting blocks.

I confirmed this but I am expecting this to be a dupe of MC-54479
