Characters in front of the cursor render one pixel too far to the left

The Bug:

Characters in front of the cursor render one pixel too far to the left.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Type several letters into the chat without pressing enter.

2. Position the cursor in the middle of the characters.

Observed Behavior:

Characters render one pixel too far to the left.

Expected Behavior:

Characters would not render one pixel too far to the left.
